The Facility
Advanced Vascular and Interventional Solutions is a division of Cardiovascular Health Clinic. ​Advanced Vascular and Interventional Solutions and CHC are a comprehensive medical practice specializing in minimally invasive endovascular solutions to diagnose and treat diseases. Our facility was constructed in 2016 and offers the latest in technology. Our cath lab is the newest in OKC and allows us to provide the most up to date techniques and procedures.

The minimally invasive techniques used at our facility often replace open surgical procedures because there are no large incisions, less risk, reduced pain, and shorter recovery time for patients. This allows you to bypass the inconvenience and hassle of going to a hospital as well as significant reduction in cost to the patient.
What is an Interventional Radiologist
Interventional radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments. They offer the most in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. They use X-rays, MRI and other imaging to advance a catheter in the body, usually in an artery, to internally treat the source of the disease. As the inventors of angioplasty and the catheter-delivered stent, which were first used in the legs to treat peripheral arterial disease, interventional radiologists pioneered minimally invasive modern medicine.

Today many conditions that once required surgery can be treated less invasively by interventional radiologists. Interventional radiology treatments offer less risk, less pain and less recovery time compared to open surgery.​

Our in-office endovascular suites provide an alternative to having procedures performed in the hospital. This eliminates the time-consuming process of hospital admissions and reduces long waiting periods before surgery.

We have extensive training in minimally invasive endovascular techniques, which have largely replaced open surgery for most vascular disorders. Minimally invasive endovascular procedures result in fewer complications and quicker recovery times. We place a strong emphasis on communication and strive to provide each patient with a clear description of his or her diagnosis and plan of care
Meet Our Physician

Dr. Parsons is a native Oklahoman who was raised in Ardmore completing his medical degree at the University of North Texas and his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he served as Chief radiology resident. He completed an interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.

As an Interventional Radiologist he specializes in minimally invasive image – guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases. He is dedicated to bringing new procedures to his patients to eliminate the need for invasive surgical procedures. He has introduced innovative procedures like Sphenocath migraine solution, fibroid embolization, prostate embolization and more.
